As you may know, I'm working on the next book in the series. Its working title is SEVEN WHOLE DAYS, but don't count on that to last because the booksellers I've spoken to all went, "Blaaah," when I tried out the title on them. The novel opens about two months after the end of ONE WAS A SOLDIER and, as you might guess from the title, takes place over a single week.
Right now, it looks as if publication will be at the end of 2012 or beginning of 2013. I'll let you know when I…

I just found out tonight's my 11-year-old's school choir Christmas concert. It's rainy and cold and all I could think was "Nooooooo....." making me a combination of Bad Mom and Scrooge. The things we do for our kids.
