I love these books but the last one was preposterous. Russ wouldn't check those weather conditions?Clare could do all this physical stuff 5 1/2 months pregnant? The police officer seemed to be surviving on Oxycontin.....where did he get this? It was a page turner but the ending with Hadley and Flynn was enough to turn me off the series. Really.................come on! A porn star! Nothing led up to this in prior books. You must be desperate and need to do better..........and soon!

I just finished Through the Evil Days. Like some others have posted, I was a bit let down. There were just too many things going on with Clare and Russ up at the cabin. Too many crises crammed into such a short time. The idea that Clare, five-and-a-half months pregnant, going through all that physical exertion and exposure to the elements and stress without having so much as a twinge is completely unbelievable.
