Happy Mother's Day!

Here's a portrait of the artist as a young woman - Easter 1983. My brother, who is now taller than any of us, in front, my sister with a fish hat on (her sense of humor is unchanged,) my dad (who does not actually wear a bill cap with a suit except to hear my mother say, "Oh,…

File Under: Glamourous Life of the Author

My daughter's middle school runs an annual auction to raise money for charity and for extracurricular activities/field trips and the like. I offered a character name, which was put out for raffle, and a complete set of my books, won by a teacher who said, "I'm sure I'll enjoy these!" (I…

Book Recommendations 24 Replies

Because I love this series so much, I would be willing to consider any recommendations Julia has. She has gotten me into the Inspector Armand Gamache series by Louise Penny. Any other recommendations, either from Julia or from my fellow bloggers?

Wednesday got away from me!

But I finally got this week's excerpt up. Thanks for your patience.

Sorry about the delay getting WIP Wednesday up!

It's been crazy busy and my poor HH's back is out, so I'm doing single-parent duty.
