Just finished reading Through the Evil Days and thoroughly enjoyed it,  Have read many of the other Russ and Clare books. also with pleasure.  However I was left up in the air with this one,   What about Russ and Clare and the baby and also Hadley and Kevin.  Is Kevin just going to walk away with no forgiveness or compassion?? And here I was thinking he was a wonderful guy???    Will the next book with the answers to my questions be coming along soon??    Hope so!!!!

One Was a Soldier--confused about something

I just finished reading OWAS... terrific book, of course, as they all are. One thing that confused and continues to nag at me, though:  When the death of Linda Van Aylstane was mentioned, on page 67 in the Kindle edition, it said she died in a car accident. But she was murdered in their house in All Mortal Flesh. ????  What am I missing, or misreading??

Book Recommendations 23 Replies

Because I love this series so much, I would be willing to consider any recommendations Julia has. She has gotten me into the Inspector Armand Gamache series by Louise Penny. Any other recommendations, either from Julia or from my fellow bloggers?

When Will the Next Book be Out?

As you may know, I'm working on the next book in the series. Its working title is SEVEN WHOLE DAYS, but don't count on that to last because the booksellers I've spoken to all went, "Blaaah," when I tried out the title on them. The novel opens about two months after the end of ONE WAS A SOLDIER and, as you might guess from the title, takes place over a single week.

Right now, it looks as if publication will be at the end of 2012 or beginning of 2013. I'll let you know when I…

Wednesday got away from me!

But I finally got this week's excerpt up. Thanks for your patience.

I just found out tonight's my 11-year-old's school choir Christmas concert. It's rainy and cold and all I could think was "Nooooooo....." making me a combination of Bad Mom and Scrooge. The things we do for our kids.

Sorry about the delay getting WIP Wednesday up!

It's been crazy busy and my poor HH's back is out, so I'm doing single-parent duty.
