"Clare brings so much to Saint Albans; she simply does not recognize how much of an asset she is to the church and to the Millers Kill community.  I, too, hope she does not give in to what seems to be mounting pressure for her to resign.…"

"A bit harsh I would say. Even a leave of absence might have given her a chance to quietly have the baby without all the hoopla that  might be expected if she were the rector. Then she could return when the baby was a few months old…"

Work-in-Progress Wednesday: Chapter 4, Part 5

She took her usual place at the head of the table. Until and unless the bishop removed her, she was still the rector here. She wasn't so far gone that she didn't see the grim humor in her possesiveness. She'd been wrestling with…

When Will the Next Book be Out?

As you may know, I'm working on the next book in the series. Its working title is SEVEN WHOLE DAYS, but don't count on that to last because the booksellers I've spoken to all went, "Blaaah," when I tried out the title on them.
